Our church is actively involved in our community working to provide relief and hope in the midst of the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene. Our church members and our neighbors have had their lives and homes radically changed by the flooding of Reems Creek and the tornado that came up our valley. We are all still without power and potable water.
We are grateful for the many donations we have received, and we appreciate all who want to serve and support this community and our work. We are meeting short term needs: providing internet access, helping support folks as they file FEMA applications, and providing basic resources for the community. But we are also planning to be a part of long term rebuilding and relief efforts.
If you want to give to our church to support this work and our community partners, please click on our GIVE page. On that page, find the GIVE button and click it. Select Memorial gift and in the notes please put: Hurricane Relief.
Thank you for your generosity and your help as we get back on our feet and continue to meet the needs of people all over Buncombe County.
